DURTY SCROGGIN IS...
A high
energy, hard rock cover band, who believes that musicianship and
showmanship, are both key elements to providing a complete show.
Durty Scroggin works very hard to keep the crowd energised and
moving through the entire show.

Drums/ Vocals
"The Doctor" Dan Fiore
Dan is the rock for our roll. Capable of
playing so many different styles with power and finesse, he
brings a solid beat for the bodies to rock to and he ain't just
sitting there watching it all go by either!
Some of the Doc's past projects are writing and recording
original music with The Catch, and rocking the local scene with
Tragic Wagon, Kaos, Class Action, and Freeze. Dan has been most
influenced by the big
beaters- John Bonham, Ginger Baker, Tommy Lee, Vinnie and Carmine
Appice, Phil Rudd, Tommy Aldridge.
Dan is usally beating Yamahas or Nobel and Cooley Drums.
Lead Vocals/ Rythm Guitar/ Harp
Howlin' Jim Henderson
Jim brings a great vocal range to
the mic. Not just a range of notes, a great range of styles too.
He'll scream one tune, growl the next, and then sing one for good
measure.
Jim comes from a musical background, and has been performing it,
in many forms since childhood. Durty Scroggin brought Jim
out of a long break from musical activity and he's taking it out
on every stage he plays.
Jim's equipment includes Jackson,
Ibanez, Epiphone, Seymour Duncan, Marshall, Crate, Lee Oskar, and
Hohner, as well as Boss and Digitech effects.
Lead Guitar/ Backing Vocals
Mike "The Hot Rod" Rodenbaugh
Mike is one the premier guitarists in New England. You can't see
a Durty Scroggin show, and not be blown away by this guys
abilities. Don't take our word for it, see/ hear it for
yourself.
Mike is from Pawtucket R.I. He has been playing the guitar for 20
years. He has studied Jazz, Country, Classical and Rock and has
also spent time learning modes, arpeggios, and theory. He is
extremely serious about his music and hopes to play
professionally in the future. Mike played at the winter NAMM show
for Rhino amps in 2000. His past bands in the R.I. area include
Vivid Image, Cartoon Envy, and Intricate Simplicity.
Mike's equipment includes the Thor amplifier (his own creation). Various Les Paul style guitars and whatever else is the flavor of the month.
Here is Mike's shot at a Gibson contest for a Slash signature model guitar...
